Important Usage & Safety Tips

Placement: The air pump is not submersible. It must be kept outside the aquarium, ideally at a height above the water level. This prevents water from siphoning back into the pump during a power failure.
Check Valve: It is highly recommended to use a check valve (non-return valve) with the airline tubing to provide an extra layer of protection against water backflow.
Maintenance: To keep the pump running efficiently, clean or replace your air stones and tubing periodically. Clogged air stones create backpressure that can shorten the lifespan of the pump’s diaphragm.
Vibration: To minimize noise, ensure the pump is placed on a flat, stable surface and is not touching the glass of the aquarium, which can amplify vibrations.
